For this review, we apply The Ordinary’s AHA Toning Solution to Keratosis Pilaris bumps found on the upper left arm.
These bumps have a dark skin tone at the base and has an incredibly rough and bumpy texture.
After using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution for 2 weeks on these bumps, we saw the following results:
In just a few short weeks, we can already start to see the dark rings surrounding each Keratosis Pilaris bumps becoming lighter.
The skin texture, however, is still noticeably bumpy.
Although there’s slight improvements, the skin texture is still noticeably bumpy and it’s clear that more time is needed to see if The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution really is an effective skincare product for getting rid of the dark Keratosis Pilaris bumps.

So far, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution has been slowly improving the appearance of the dark Keratosis Pilaris bumps on the skin but for the 60 day update, we noticed something interesting about these bumps.

In the previous update, we noticed some interesting changes to the Keratosis Pilaris bumps taking place.

Well, take a look at the final 90 day before and after results:
Surprisingly, most of the Keratosis Pilaris bumps look much darker and is more noticeable after 3 months of using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution.
These growing bumps were actually noticeable in the previous results, however, we thought the growth was from the glycolic acid drawing out the excess keratin buildup from the pores of each hair follicles.
