This is a surprisingly lightweight cream that absorbs fairly quickly without leaving behind any greasy residue on the surface of the skin.
In fact, we noticed that the skin stayed neutral after applying The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, neither too shiny or matte!
Azelaic acid is a fairly strong active skincare ingredient so avoid using other actives such as AHA, BHA, Retinol and Vitamin-C.
In general, it’s best to avoid using too many actives at once as this can irritate the skin.
No, we did not experience any stinging sensations or irritations during this review and it’s nice to see that there’s no added fragrance to this skincare product.
Remember, azelaic acid can cause the skin to be more sensitive to UV light so using sunscreen and avoiding direct exposure to sunlight is highly recommended!
