Deep wrinkles after 2 weeks using La Roche-Posay Effaclar Adapalene Gel 0.1%
For this skincare product review, we apply La Roche-Posay Adapalene Gel 0.1% to the neck, where wrinkles and loose skin become more visible as the skin ages.
After 2 weeks of using Adapalene, we saw the following results:
With just a quick glance, there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference.
Looking a bit closer however, we can see a clear improvement to the overall skin texture and strength.
Although the deeper wrinkles are still visible, keep in mind that these results are from only 2 weeks and more time is probably needed before there’s any significant changes.

Because Adapalene is an incredibly strong active skincare ingredient, it’s common to experience skin irritations to some degree when using products containing Adapalene.
During this review, when we experienced some discomforts, such as slight burning sensation, dry skin and itchiness, we stopped applying the Adapalene Gel for a few days and the irritation subsided.
Please patch test before using Adapalene and apply just the minimum to lessen chances of irritation!
Retinoids can sensitize the skin to sunlight so using sunscreen and avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight is a must!
